HANK'S HIDDEN TREASURES: UNIQUE TOURS OF NYC

I am a native New Yorker who has lived and worked all over the city. As a licensed New York City Tour Guide, I have conducted over 1,500 bus and walking tours for Gray Line, NYC's premiere touring company. I have worked for the government of New York City, managed social services for a shelter for homeless families, and served as a college professor and instructor at Columbia University, Fordham University, the City University of New York, and the New School. As a fine art photographer, I had two solo exhibitions in New York's SOHO district, and I also worked at an artist-run gallery for three years.

I can help you plan your visit to maximize your photographic opportunities. If you are a repeat visitor, or new to living in the city, I can guide you to many of the city's hidden treasures both within Manhattan and in the fascinating outer boroughs such as The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens -- the most international place in the world. Endless opportunities exist for photographing people and places, unusual architecture, cultural attractions, vantage points for cityscapes, and even natural areas and landscapes in our parks and coastal areas.

I can conduct tours for groups of three or more, for either a half day or a full day. Along the way, you'll learn more NYC history, interesting facts and anecdotes, and get a unique perspective on what it's like to live and work in the world's most stimulating and challenging city. You will learn how to ride our subways and get plenty of exercise on foot. For large groups, buses can be chartered. Tours can also include lunch at an ethnic restaurant or a New York style breakfast or brunch with fresh baked bagels.
