Equipment and Process
The images were photographed with traditional professional equipment - no digital film or cameras. They are mostly medium format positives (slide film) taken with the Pentax 67 system, which I find ideal for landscape photography. Most of the images in the Caribbean and Black and White galleries were taken with negative film.
Since the size of the positive or negative is 6 x 7 cm (4.5 times the size of a 35 mm original), this allows for excellent quality enlargements of up to 24 x 30 inches. Many of the images reproduce beautifully at 30 x 40 inches, and larger with digital output.
Most print series are offered in limited editions of 100. There are some images and sizes in smaller editions. This is due to either their special meaning to the artist, or because they were part of a exhibition. Contact us regarding the availability of a specific print in a particular size. All prints are signed by the artist.

Each color transparency is printed individually using Cibrachrome or Ilfachrome Classic Deluxe archival color prints. These are the most long-lasting color prints possible, which are guaranteed not to fade beyond acceptable levels for 200 years. I am now making available archival digital ultrachrome prints which also have a lifetime guarantee, with the advantage of additional paper options such as watercolor. Digital printing is slowly but surely replacing cibachrome as the process of choice.
Black and white images are exhibition quality and are reproduced on Ilford Double Weight Multigrade IV Fiber paper or the highest quality digital printing.
